Day of and day after your procedure

Physicians Endoscopy Center at One Nineteen is committed to ensuring that your procedures proceed as smoothly as possible. Watch the video below to see what to expect during your visit with us.

The day after your procedure, it’s common to feel gassy or bloated, and you might feel drowsy or dizzy from the anesthesia. Avoid strenuous activity, alcohol, driving, and making important decisions for 24 hours after the procedure. We will send you a survey about your experience, and your feedback will help us enhance our services.

Anticipating surgery or outpatient procedures can be stressful and part of the anxiety can arise from not fully understanding associated out-of-pocket expenses. At Physicians Endoscopy Center at One Nineteen, we believe it is important to make patients aware of their potential financial expenses prior to their procedure.

One of our insurance verification specialists will contact you if there is an anticipated out-of-pocket expense associated with your planned procedure. Please realize charges for your procedure at Physicians Endoscopy Center at One Nineteen are separate from your surgeon’s charge as well as any anesthesiologist* and/or pathologist charges which may be incurred.

If your procedure is not covered by insurance, full payment is required at the time of service unless other arrangements are made in advance.

Patients – or their legal guardians – are ultimately responsible for payment of facility services at Physicians Endoscopy Center at One Nineteen. As a courtesy, Physicians Endoscopy Center at One Nineteen will bill your primary and secondary insurance carriers for you. Please bring your insurance cards with you on the day of surgery. We are required to collect all co-payments from our patients and we will call you to discuss any patient responsibility related to your co-payments.
